The reasons Block Hero’s orders, revenue and visits won’t match Shopify Analytics.
Block Hero and Shopify Analytics answer different questions. Shopify Analytics reports on your whole store. Block Hero counts what happened after a shopper clicked one of your blocks. Expect Block Hero’s numbers to be smaller, and to differ for the reasons below.
Shopify’s definitions come from the Shopify Help Center pages linked in the table. For how each Block Hero metric is counted, see What each metric means.
Both end after 30 minutes without activity. Shopify counts every session on your online store. Block Hero counts only sessions that start with a click on one of your blocks, and a click on different content starts a new one.
Impressions

Shopify doesn’t count how often a block was seen.

CTR

Clicks divided by Impressions. Shopify has no equivalent.
Block Hero counts only orders placed within 30 minutes of activity in a block-click session, each credited to one block. Neither counts test orders, except that Block Hero counts them on development stores.
Both include taxes and shipping and take off discounts. Shopify takes off returns and other order changes on the day they happen. Block Hero keeps the order total at the time of the order and never takes off returns.
Block Hero’s AOV is product sales after discounts, before shipping, at the prices shoppers paid, divided by orders. Where your store’s prices include tax, it includes tax. It uses only orders Block Hero credited to a block, with the amounts at the time of the order.
Sessions, Added to cart, Orders and Revenue only include visits that started with a click on one of your blocks. A shopper who buys without clicking a block isn’t counted by Block Hero, but is counted by Shopify.
An order is credited to the block and content whose click started the shopper’s session. If the shopper then clicks different content, a new session starts and that content gets the credit instead. An order is never split or counted twice across blocks. See How a session is credited.
A session ends after 30 minutes with no activity. If a shopper clicks a block, leaves for longer than that, and comes back to buy, Block Hero doesn’t credit the order to the block.
Revenue is the order total at the time of the order, including taxes and shipping. It doesn’t go down when an order is refunded or returned later. AOV is product sales after discounts, before shipping, and includes tax only where your store’s prices include tax.
Some metrics started on a later day for your store, such as Orders from the first order Shopify confirmed. Days before that aren’t counted. See When counting starts.
